SignedSealed (“we,” “us,” “our”) is software that helps funeral homes track death certificates and follow up with certifying physicians. Our website is signedsealed.online.

2. Information we collect

We collect information that funeral homes provide when using the service:

• Account details: name, email address, funeral home name and address.
• Case information: deceased names, dates, certifying physician names and contact information.
• Family contact information: name, email, and mobile phone number, when a funeral director enters it and the family has consented to receive updates.

3. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

• Operate the service and send notifications about certificate cases.
• Follow up with certifying physicians by email.
• Send text message updates to family contacts who have consented.
• Send a daily morning summary to funeral directors who opt in.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Text messaging (SMS)

SignedSealed sends text messages in three situations only: (1) status updates to the family contact of a case, who agreed to texts when the funeral home added them to the case; (2) reminders to the certifying physician’s office; and (3) a daily morning summary to the funeral director who opted in through Settings.

No marketing. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.

No selling or sharing. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. Standard message and data rates may apply.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate SignedSealed (for example, cloud infrastructure and payment processing), and only to the extent necessary to perform those services. We may disclose information when required by law.

6. Data retention and security

We retain case data for as long as a funeral home account is active and for a reasonable period after account closure, or as required by law. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting us at privacy@signedsealed.online.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated date.
